The Enterprise Development Grant is Enterprise Singapore's main support scheme for company transformation projects. As of June 2026, it supports up to 50% of qualifying project costs for SMEs (up to 30% for non-SMEs), covering third-party consultancy fees, software and equipment, and internal manpower. Projects fall under three pillars: Core Capabilities, Innovation & Productivity, and Market Access. Sustainability-related projects can receive up to 70% support until 31 March 2026.

Applications go through the Business Grants Portal (BGP) using CorpPass, and a project must not begin — no signed contracts, no payments — before the application is approved.

EDGE (Enterprise Development & Growth Enhancement) was announced at Budget 2026, delivered on 12 February 2026. It consolidates three existing schemes — the EDG, the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG), and the Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) grant — into a single activity-based application, and launches in the second half of 2026. Existing grants remain open until EDGE launches.

Several EDGE specifics are not yet officially confirmed — including the precise support percentages for non-internationalisation activities and whether existing consultant-certification requirements carry over. Under the EDG, management-consultancy projects require consultants holding certification accredited by the Singapore Accreditation Council — TR 43 or SS 680. Whether this requirement carries into EDGE is not yet confirmed. When scoping a grant-supported project, confirm the current certification requirement with Enterprise Singapore or on the Business Grants Portal, as it determines who may deliver the consultancy portion of an eligible project.
